The two African grey parrots that talk most effectively in the parrot community are the Congo and the Timneh.
African Grey
Timneh is a less popular and more affordable African grey than the Congo, which is a larger and better-known species. But their speaking abilities are comparable.
African Grey
The best talking parrots in the world are amazons. They are strong, combative, and active birds. Many Amazonian animals can whistle and converse on average, but some are very good at using sentences.
Amazon
Speaking like an African Grey Parrot is more difficult than speaking like an Amazon. The talkative Amazon species with the yellow nape is the chattiest.

Small to medium-sized, smart, humorous, and feisty, monk parakeets can be either a buddy or a badass to people depending on the situation and/or attitude.
Quaker Parakeet
When in the mood, they can chat for hours on end and are good listeners. They appreciate being handled and having their hands massaged. They are also excellent shoulder birds.
Quaker Parakeet
One of the best talking parrots is the ring-necked parrot (RNP). They are resilient and smart, but in contrast to most other talking parrots, they are usually quiet and docile.
Ring-Necked Parakeet
Although not as energetic as cockatoos or amazons, RNPs are nevertheless very active. Ringneck parakeets are less expensive since they are more widely available. One of the best parrot species in terms of vocabulary is the RNP.

Eclectus are medium-sized birds with fair communication skills. They differ significantly from other parrots in that they have the strongest gender diversity and males are more submissive than females. In breeding settings, females unavoidably traumatise males.
