Do Cats Like Having Their Paws Massaged?
A paw massage can be enjoyable for some cats (presumably those who are accustomed to having their paws
stroked). Some animals, though, won't allow their paws to be handled at all, making massages impossible.
In general, cat massage may be a soothing and delightful experience for both you and your cat as it eases tension
and encourages healthy circulation. Try beginning your strokes from your cat's shoulders or the
base of its tail if it doesn't like having its paws stroked. Your veterinarian can suggest massage resources or
courses you might attempt. Just remember to be gentle and familiarize yourself with the technique first.
