What Temperature is Too Cold for Rabbits?
Rabbits look to be fairly fragile, yet they are really highly resilient to the cold. A rabbit
will always choose the cold over the heat. A healthy rabbit has a body temperature that
ranges from 101 to 103 degrees Fahrenheit. Even slightly lower outside temperatures
of 32 degrees Fahrenheit can support this. Throughout the winter, be sure to check
your rabbit's body temperature often. They're good if the temperature stays over 101 degrees Fahrenheit. Your
rabbit becomes hypothermic if the temperature falls to or below 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This calls for movement.
