Are Majesty Palms Safe for Cats?
One of the many secure plants you may have in a cat household is a Majesty Palm. No damage will come to
your cat if it is seen nibbling on the green fronds or the sturdy stem, except perhaps you get extremely
irritable with them. Fortunately, Majesty Palms are non-toxic, so even if your cat eats and digests one, it won't harm
it. The danger of injury from eating significant quantities of the thin, fibrous fronds is minimal. Since
the fronds won't be easily broken down by your cat's digestive system, they may irritate their stomach and cause vomiting and
diarrhea. Furthermore, huge quantities may group together and perhaps obstruct the digestive tract.
