Are tomatoes poisonous to guinea pigs?
Guinea pigs cannot get sick from tomatoes. The overfeeding of tomatoes to guinea pigs can
cause a variety of ailments, even if we should only feed them a small amount. The ideal
quantity of sugar is present in tomatoes. Our guinea pigs suffer injury from it even though it
might not seem like much to us. A high-sugar diet is inedible for guinea pigs and results un illnesses
like diabetes and obesity. The fact that guinea pigs may get diarrhea as a result of
consuming too many tomatoes is another important concern. Some guinea pigs like
munching on this tiny treat, but not all of them do. To find out if they like it, we must first add a small amount to their food.
