Green Anole Lizard Information
Green anoles, despite their name, have the ability to transition between the hues of green and brown, earning them the
nickname "the American chameleon." They have a lifespan of 4 to 8 years. Because they enjoy climbing and are highly active
during the day, they are excellent first pets for kids. Additionally, they are eager to engage
with their owners and may even eat with their hands. Insectivores known as green anoles may
consume largely crickets, however it's advised to supplement
their diet with calcium and vitamins, mealworms, and waxworms.
