How far can a horse run?

For around 2 kilometers, horses can gallop without halting before

becoming fatigued. Horses may go up to 20 miles at a slower rate while

walking or trotting. If their speed isn't too quick, horses can often canter

between 1 and 5 kilometers without stopping. It's not a good idea to

push your horse for extensive periods of time or distance, so make sure you've properly trained

and built up your horse's strength before attempting longer distances of travel or speed.
