How Fish Hear?

You might not be aware of this, but a great deal of people mistakenly

believe that fish lack ears, which prevents them from hearing. Different

types of fish can hear utilizing cilia, which is a thin nerve hair. Fish have

various hearing organs in their bodies. Additionally, they have the ability

to hear through a mixture of their otoliths, accelerometers, and other

organs. The cilia are a similar structure to the ones that line the

cochlea in the inner ear of humans and other land-dwelling animals.
