How Much Exercise Do Rabbits Need Each Day?

A minimum of three hours must pass each day for the rabbits to exercise outside of their

cage. A minimum of 32 square feet is required for them to play in. Since rabbits are content

to run around within the house, it is not necessary for it to be outside. Given that rabbits are

naturally most active at dawn and dusk, exercise time should be offered during these times.

Rabbits should ideally be kept in a free-range environment with unrestricted access to the

house. If you can't do this because it's not feasible, you need to make sure your rabbit is

exercising enough. Lack of freedom can cause tension, depression, and weight gain in rabbits.
