How Much Garlic Is Toxic for a Cat?

Dogs and cats cannot eat garlic. A far less amount of garlic can be more

dangerous to a cat than a dog, despite the fact that most canines are

larger than cats (and some are noticeably bigger). A cat can become

poisoned and suffer serious health problems from even one garlic clove.

About 1/8 of a teaspoon of garlic powder would be enough to seriously

upset your cat, and varieties of garlic at their particular doses are potentially lethal.
