Side-effects of shrimp on children
Despite the fact that shrimp has many health benefits for kids, it also contains hazardous
amounts of mercury that can stunt a toddler's brain development. In order to lower the
risk of mercury toxicity, it is advised to avoid giving your kid shrimp and to only give them other
fish once or twice a week. Eating 150 gm of shrimp is suggested and safe for kids
under the age of two. Toddlers shouldn't be fed raw or undercooked
shrimp or other shellfish since they contain dangerous germs that can cause fever, diarrhea, and vomiting.
