Taco Bell Is Testing 3 Surprising New Products

Fans of Taco Bell have had a thrilling few weeks with the introduction of the chain's first-ever taco inspired by birria, as well as the much-anticipated reintroduction of the Beefy Crunch Burrito. Three more new delicacies are now available for some fortunate Taco Bell fans to taste.

A Mexican BBQ Flatbread Melt, Three-Cheese Flatbread Melt, and Shredded Beef Grilled Cheese Burrito are currently being tested by the fast food company. The drawback of these new products is that they are only offered in a few markets.

In Dayton, Ohio, Taco Bell is trying both Flatbread Melts; meanwhile, Oklahoma City is selling the Shredded Beef Grilled Cheese Burrito.

While the dishes are now only offered in a small number of locations, fast-food restaurants frequently use such experiments to determine whether novel new items will be popular enough to warrant a larger launch.

There is a chance that Taco Bell will introduce the new goods on a nationwide scale in the future if they succeed in the test markets.

Other Taco Bell news: Through September 5, the restaurant chain is giving away free Doritos Locos Tacos to customers in honour of its successful campaign to reclaim the Taco Tuesday trademark, which was formerly held by rival Taco John's.

Then, on September 12, Taco Bell and DoorDash will work together to start a $5 million taco tab.

Taco Bell intends to utilize that tab to cover a portion of consumers' orders from any participating vendor serving Mexican food on that particular day. This implies that the chain might pay a percentage of your tab even if you decide to eat somewhere else.

The DoorDash promotion will not be accessible in New Jersey, which is the only state where the Taco Tuesday trademark registration has not been revoked, which is unfortunate for any Taco Bell aficionados in the Garden State.
