The term "good" or "healthy" fats is often used to describe unsaturated

fats. These fats are mostly present in plant-based foods such nuts,

seeds, avocados, and vegetable oils. Fish that is oily also contains

unsaturated lipids. It has been shown that unsaturated fats have anti-

inflammatory qualities and are good for heart health and overall wellbeing.

When they take the role of saturated "unhealthy" fats in the diet, this is very beneficial.
